About Kenneth Okonkwo
Kenneth Okonkwo, also known by many as ‘Andy’, is a well-known Nigerian Nollywood actor, lawyer, and a politician. In fact, he was the first man to act the so-called, Nollywood movies. Born on 6th November 1968, he is a native of Enugu State (Nsukka Local Government) and was brought to the limelight following the role he played as ‘Andy’ in the movie living in Bondage, a Nigerian drama thriller released in 1992 and which gave birth to Nollywood. Since then, he has stayed true to his craft. He also featured in the Television Soap Opera Ripples where he played the role of Captain John Mark. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State and later graduated with a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
