You will research, prepare and execute a wide range of information mainly for the external public and be part of Corporate Communication which is responsible for the internal and external communication within the ECCO Group. As Communications Specialist, you will work on a corporate level and support the Head of External Communication and the colleagues in Group Communication in dealing with tasks linked to internal communication and social media. You will be delivering news to ECCO’s various communication platforms with the main emphasis on www.group.ecco.com. You will also service media and handle a mixture of communication requests.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
Furthermore, you will be involved in the creation and maintaining of corporate press kits, deliver articles for the annual report, write press releases and other external communication materials. In addition to this, you will support the editing and writing of articles for the ECCO intranet. The ideal candidate qualifies for the following:
A background in journalism or communication.
Experience within an international company.
Track record of communication on Corporate Responsibility.
A skilled writer who can deliver swiftly when needed.
Superb English language skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software.
Structured and good work ethic and follow-up skills.
A high degree of flexibility and willingness to multitask and manage short-term and long-term deadlines.
A team player, with diplomatic skills, who is equally comfortable working independently and as part of a small and dedicated team.
Excellent presentation skills.
Willing to travel 15-20 day’s yearly.
